TOXIC CUSTODY CASE LEADS TO A MISSING CHILD FOUND IN PUERTO RICO

A missing 7-year-old from Toombs County has been found safe.

The girl had been missing for more than a week. The FBI believed that she had been taken to Puerto Rico by her non-custodial mother, and the pair were found in a retail store on the island.

The girl’s mother has been charged with interference with child custody and is awaiting extradition.

The girl is now safe with her father.
