Rapper J Cole Inadvertently Exposes Culture Of Racism At Tesla

When American rapper J. Cole went to the Tesla dealership to buy one of their pricey cybertrucks with cash (Price ranging from $80-100K) He didn’t know 3 things: 1) He was being filmed 2) He would be ignored 3) that he would inadvertently expose a culture of racism at Tesla dealerships that has been complained about, but never caught on camera…until now!

Apparently buying a car while Black doesn’t get any easier when you’re rich and famous.
In a TikTok posted on Monday (June 3), user @Pearliquee shared that she had a surprise run-in with the Dreamville founder at a Tesla dealership in New York, where allegedly Cole wasn’t getting much attention from the staff. J. Cole had a t shirt and shorts on, and a backpack that with at least $80,000 in it. However because Tesla staff didn’t recognize the famous rapper we got an inside glimpse of how a lay Black man would be treated at the Tesla dealership, and it wasn’t pretty.

“J Cole & I shopping for teslas at the same time while the manager kept ignoring him bc he didn’t know who he was & continued persuading me to place the order for the car,” she wrote.

The 1-minute TikTok shows Cole checking out the Tesla Cybertruck, a model that reportedly starts at around a whopping $80,000. J Cole was eventually approached by Tesla employees after he touched the CyberTruck on display. They (the car salespeople) only talked to him to tell him to leave the dealership. J Cole has an estimated net worth of $60 million dollars

This wouldn’t be the first time recently that Cole’s been spotted on a random outing. Last month, another TikToker snapped a picture with him at the beach, shortly after he bowed out of a feud with Kendrick Lamar.
