The Conscious Cypher was the most magical melanated memorable moment of 2023. Hosted by Fun (@iloveyoufun) and Palmetto Star (@wintherevolution) there were epic diverse performances from spoken word, to live acoustic guitar, and hard-core hip hop. Professor Griff of Public Enemy (@professorgriff) was the dj and brought in revolutionary riffs straight from soul that kept people moving all night.
