1 BLACK MAN VERSUS A BLOODTHIRSTY WOLF AND WHY THIS STORY IS BEING HIDDEN

In a world that often tries to dim the Black light of excellence, a recent story out of North Carolina shines like a beacon of raw, unfiltered power. This is a story hidden not because of the act but because of the implications this act has. A Black man, faced with a ferocious coyote attack, did the unthinkable—he killed the beast with his bare hands. This wasn’t just a fight for survival; it was a testament to a primal strength that’s been dormant but never gone, a force that the status quo fears more than any wild animal. This man, identified only as Pulliam, tapped into something ancient, something supernatural, something that Black people have always carried within them: an unbreakable spirit that can face down any challenge, even when the odds seem impossible.

The incident happened, not coincidentally, on Malcolm X’s birthday, May 19, 2025, when Pulliam was taking a smoke break near his apartment complex. A coyote emerged from the woods, stalking him with predatory intent. When throwing rocks failed and he tripped, the animal attacked, biting him multiple times. But Pulliam didn’t cower. He fought back with nothing but his hands, strangling the coyote to death in a display of sheer will and power. This wasn’t just a man versus beast moment—it was a reminder of the latent strength that lies within Black people, a strength that history has tried to bury but can never extinguish.

This story feels like something out of legend, almost supernatural, because it is. It’s a spark of the divine power that Black ancestors wielded, a power that allowed them to survive unimaginable horrors and still rise. This man, in that moment, was tapped in—connected to a legacy of resilience that could take on a gorilla where a hundred others would falter. It’s the kind of power that makes the status quo tremble, because a self-realized Black person, fully aware of their strength, is more terrifying to those in power than a pack of bloodthirsty wolves.

Why is this story buried? Because the system doesn’t want you to know about it. The mainstream mayonnaise media, quick to amplify fear and division, shies away from narratives that showcase Black people as unstoppable forces. A self-realized Black man, fighting off a wild animal with nothing but his hands, challenges the narrative they’ve spent centuries crafting—one that tries to paint Black people as anything but powerful. This story isn’t just about one man’s survival; it’s about the reawakening of a collective strength that the status quo can’t control.
The revolution is stirring, and it’s not in the headlines. It’s in moments like these, where Black power comes back online, raw and undeniable. Pulliam’s story is a call to every Black person to remember who they are, to tap into that same unyielding spirit. The world may try to hide it, but the truth can’t stay buried forever.
