On this part III episode of Lady Mprez Presents, Lady Mprez finishes off this topic of how people are conditioned to think a certain way, and shows this by presenting a video of a man asking questions like “Why do Black women try to be white by wearing wigs and weaves?”… When do we start holding ourselves accountable? “Black America, when are ‘WE’ going to unite and take care of ourselves?” She discusses how the culture of social media has initiated toxicity within our culture, where we can’t have civil conversations about sensitive matters without being vile or emotional. She believes our mindsets are what hold our culture back. She touches on how we need to get rid of diploma requirements for certain career fields, because the education system is a broken cycle. She explains how we need to get back to learning technical skills, and how the way we see schooling is changing (Palm Beach County in Florida being a prime example). “WE” need to stop holding certain influencers on a pedestal when they’re not doing right. It’s time to separate the bad from the good. All our systems need to be revamped. We’re too caught up in everybody else’s differences and allowing it to divide us, versus enjoying everybody’s differences and allowing it to unite us.
