Lady Mprez Presents: Real Talk X Part I

On this week’s episode of Lady Mprez Presents: Real Talk, Lady Mprez discusses different aspects of family dynamics and how it may be effecting the African Diaspora mainly in America. She first discusses growing up in a multicultural family where she sees the differences in the family structure in America versus the family structure in Jamaica. She talks about despite parents not being present in their kids lives in the Caribbean, kids still have someone to mentor them, unlike America where they have to figure it out on their own. She then talks about Polygamy and how it was a trend for a little while and the double standards of men being labeled promiscuous which is causing damage to the family structure.
